of the industry, whether that's your main focus or combined with some hands-on treatments.

About Us
GHB Clinic is a modern aesthetic and laser clinic in the heart of Covent Garden. We specialise in advanced skin and laser treatments, including CO2 resurfacing, PicoWay laser, acne and scarring treatments, pigmentation, and non-surgical facial aesthetics.
We are building a strong, patient-focused team and are now looking for a knowledgeable consultant who can provide high-quality, ethical advice and support to our clients.
The Role
As an
Aesthetic Treatment Consultant
, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth consultations, understanding each client's concerns, and recommending appropriate treatment pathways in collaboration with our practitioners.
You'll spend most of your time:
Speaking with clients
Reviewing their history and concerns
Explaining treatment options clearly
Helping them feel informed, safe and confident in their decisions
When consultation volume is lighter, you'll support with follow-ups, treatment planning and client relationship management.
For candidates with the right background and qualifications, there may also be opportunities to incorporate some hands-on treatment work, in line with clinic needs and protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough aesthetic consultations (in-person and occasionally virtual)
Take a detailed history of client concerns, previous treatments, lifestyle factors and expectations
Assess skin concerns and aesthetic goals, and recommend suitable treatment options (e.g. laser, skin treatments, injectables, skincare) in line with clinic protocols
Explain treatment benefits, risks, downtime and realistic outcomes in clear, honest language
Work closely with our practitioners to build safe and effective treatment plans
Support consent and pre-treatment preparation within clinic protocols and your scope
Follow up with clients after consultations and treatments to support satisfaction and retention
Help with before/after photos and documenting treatment journeys
Maintain accurate notes and client records
Contribute to a high-standard, ethical and patient-centred consultation process
Who This Role Is For
We are looking for someone who:
Has
solid experience in an aesthetic, cosmetic, dermatology or medical clinic setting
Is confident and comfortable talking through skin and aesthetic concerns
Can explain treatments (fillers, skin treatments, laser, etc.) in a structured, reassuring way
Understands how consultations, treatment planning and follow-up work in a clinic environment
Is professional, warm and able to build trust quickly
Is organised and able to manage their own consultation diary and follow-ups
Enjoys the advisory/consultation side of aesthetics and is happy for this to be a major part of the role,
whether or not you also continue performing some treatments
This role would also suit an existing
Clinic Manager, Lead Therapist or Senior Consultant
who wants a role with strong consultation and client-facing focus in a growing clinic.
Required Background
To be considered, you
must
have:
Previous experience working in an aesthetic clinic, cosmetic clinic, dermatology/skin clinic, cosmetic dental practice, or similar
Hands-on experience with
aesthetic consultations
, for example:
Skin consultations (acne, pigmentation, texture, ageing)
Filler or injectable consultations
Laser or advanced skin treatment consultations
Familiarity with treatment pathways, indications/contraindications, and typical patient journeys in aesthetics
Excellent spoken English and strong communication skills
Desirable (But Not Essential)
Formal aesthetics-related qualifications (e.g. beauty therapy, laser, injectables, nursing or other clinical background)
Experience using skin analysis / face scanning devices
Experience as a practitioner who has decided to focus more on, or balance towards, consultations
Previous experience as a treatment consultant, patient advisor, or clinic manager in aesthetics/cosmetics
Training on specific devices, protocols and clinic systems will be provided but you must already be comfortable in a clinic environment and understand how aesthetic treatments and consultations work.
Career Progression
For the right person, this role can grow into a more senior position within the clinic, including
Lead Consultant
or
Clinic Manager
level responsibility over time.
Hours & Salary
Full-time and part-time roles available
Clinic operates Monday-Saturday
Saturday availability is preferred
Salary:
32,000-42,000 per year OTE (On-Target Earnings)
, this includes base salary plus
commission and performance-related bonuses
, depending on your experience and results.
