We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team within the Qualified Social Work field. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and welfare of vulnerable children and families. As a Senior Practitioner, you will lead assessments, provide expert guidance, and support junior staff in delivering high-quality social work services.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored intervention plans for children and families in need.
• Providing supervision and support to social workers and other team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and safeguarding standards.
• Collaborating with partner agencies, including health services, education, and law enforcement, to coordinate effective multi-agency responses.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and improve service delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
• Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England).
• Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for developing others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across diverse stakeholders.
