Role Overview

The Construction Cleaner will be responsible for carrying out specialist cleaning duties on an active and completed construction site in Letterston. The role requires attention to detail, safe working practices, and the ability to work alongside other trades to ensure the site is cleaned to a high standard in preparation for handover.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general construction and builders cleans De-taping protective coverings from floors safely and efficiently Undertake pre-mastic cleaning to prepare surfaces and joints for sealant application Complete sparkle (final) cleans to ensure areas are presentation-ready Clean internal surfaces including floors, walls, doors, frames, fixtures, and fittings Clean internal glazing and remove dust, residue, and labels Identify and report any damage or defects to site management Follow site-specific RAMS and health & safety procedures Use cleaning chemicals and equipment in line with COSHH regulations Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
Health & Safety Responsibilities

Wear appropriate PPE at all times Maintain a clean and safe working environment Adhere to all site rules and induction requirements Report hazards, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately
Skills & Experience

Previous experience in construction or builders cleaning preferred Understanding of pre-mastic and sparkle cleaning processes desirable Good attention to detail and time management Ability to work to deadlines and high standards Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
Working Hours

Site-based hours as required by the project programme Flexibility may be required to meet project deadlines
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week
