About the Role:



We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic

Afterschool Practitioner

to join our team, supporting children aged 4-11 in a fun, safe, and engaging afterschool environment. This role includes collecting children from local schools and transporting them to our setting, followed by delivering a variety of activities that make their afternoons enjoyable and enriching.

Key Responsibilities:



Safely collect children from school using a company-provided minibus. Plan and deliver engaging activities suitable for children aged 4-11. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff. Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.

Requirements:



Must hold a D1 category on your driving licence

and be confident driving a minibus.

Must have a clean driving licence.

Previous experience working with children aged 4-11 in a childcare, education, or playwork setting. Passionate about creating a fun and nurturing environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the fixed hours of

2:30 PM - 6:30 PM

. A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable:



Relevant childcare or playwork qualifications. First Aid certification. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
