About Us



Homefield Primary School and SSC is a new Primary school established in September 2024, and is the amalgamation of two very good schools. Whilst we are waiting for our new build, we are operating across 2 sites - the Lower school site on Lyndhurst Road and the Upper school site on Chesswood Road.



The school team is dedicated to providing an outstanding educational experience for the learners in our care. We have high aspirations for all our children, both academically and socially. Job Details



We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team of After School Club (ASC) staff to collect children from Springfield Infant School and walk them to the ASC held at our upper school site in Chesswood Road and to assist with the supervision of children in attendance.



This role is essential in ensuring the safety and welfare of children during after school hours.


Staff will be responsible for:




Collecting children from Springfield Infant School (occasionally our lower school site in Lyndhurst Road) Walking them, together with at least one other member of staff, safely to our upper school site Managing children's behaviour Ensuring children cross busy roads safely and calmly Registering children with the ASC Lead Supervisor Supervising and engaging with children attending ASC, promoting positive behaviour and helping organise a range of activities in a safe environment

The hours of work will be 2.30pm to 5pm Monday to Friday, term time only.



We are also looking for casual staff who may be called upon to cover in the event of staff absence and support our staff/pupil ratio.


Salary:

Grade 3 scp 3 24796 pro-rata / 7056 actual per year

Contract Type:

Fixed Term until 19th July 2026

Working Pattern:

12.5 hours per week (Term time only)
