About the Role
We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated
After School Club Assistants
to join our team at
Shrewsbury House School in Surbiton
. You'll play a crucial role in creating a safe, fun, and nurturing atmosphere for children in our after-school provision.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children in a variety of activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play.
Assist with snack time and meal preparation, ensuring hygiene and dietary needs are met.
Maintain a clean and organised environment.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff.
Follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies.
Assist with accurate record-keeping and reports.
Requirements
Preferred:
Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification.
Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting.
A passion for working with children and a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Current DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
First Aid training or willingness to complete training.
