After School Club - Sports/Dance Coach
Are you passionate about inspiring young people through sport or dance? We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to lead After School Clubs during term time.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 4:30pm
Location: Various school settings
Contract: Term-time only
As an After School Club Coach, you'll deliver engaging and inclusive sessions to children across a range of age groups. Whether your background is in coaching, or performing arts, you'll use your skills to make a positive impact and help children stay active and confident.
We provide full training, including a structured induction that outlines our expectations and delivery standards. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.

First Step Physical Education is part of the First Step Sports Group, we are specialists in planning, organising and delivery of all aspects of the PE curriculum. Our programmes are designed to increase participation, develop fundamental skills, and provide lasting memories for all those attending.

The Position
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate individual, who thrives when working with children in an active environment. You must have experience coaching or teaching young people and be able to demonstrate a commitment to coaching to high standards.
This is an inspiring and enjoyable post for confident, knowledgeable, and versatile individual with the ability to engage young people. You must work well within a team environment, be able to deliver and adapt the sessions by prioritising participant enjoyment and developing participant skills.
This role would be ideal for a college/university student looking for work commitments in line with their studies.
Responsibilities:

• Deliver a variety of sessions as part of our programme
• Deliver afterschool clubs each day (approximately 5 hours per week term-time)
• Provide a fun and exciting learning experience
• Follow our policies, and procedures
• Be reliable and flexible
• Demonstrate professionalism and build relationships with parents and children
• Keep settings clean and tidy
• Follow all health and safety requirements

Knowledge and Experience Requirements

• 1 year teaching/coaching experience
• Minimum - Level 2 Coaching Qualification
• Experience creating and following lesson plans
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• Experience working with a variety of ages
• First Aid and Child Protection Training - Desirable (training can be provided)

• Driving License and your own transport are desirable for this position
