After School Club Manager

Job Description

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals who love working with children to join us now!!!

Our Breakfast, After School & Holiday Clubs give children the opportunity to develop through sports, activities & play, and we need great staff to make this possible.

As site manager you will be in charge of the day to day operations and management of one of our sites making sure all clubs run smoothly giving children a great experience every day. Managing and directing a small team, you will ensure the safe and organised running of the club, fully supported our leadership team giving you all the help and resources required.

Our senior management team work closely with our site managers each day to fully support all needs and enable to site managers to concentrate on delivering great experiences to our children every day!

Responsibilities



Directly manage a breakfast, after school and/or holiday club each day, including the day-to-day management of club staff Provide a safe and secure environment for the children in your care to engage in our activities, games, sports and most importantly to have fun! Manage safe and secure registration and deregistration with our 'sign in & sign out' process each day, communicating effectively with parents & school staff at all times Purchase healthy snacks for the clubs Have awareness of any children with additional needs (Whether physical, behaviour, dietary or learning) Develop a thorough understanding of our activities and deliver them accordingly to children each day, directing colleagues as appropriate Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & our internal policies & procedures to safeguard and protect all Carry out daily risk assessments & complete all relevant operational paperwork Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day.

Requirements



You ideally have min 1 year in managerial or supervisory role in a childcare, early years or play work setting A Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Childcare or Playwork (or equivalent) however not essential This role would also suit an individual who has experience working within a school (Teacher, TA, Nursery Manager, Early Years Educator ect) Be 100% reliable

Skills & Experience



Experience of working in the Wraparound/Play work sector, in a Primary School, Pre-School, Nursery or Sports setting desirable but not essential. Be enthusiastic, bringing fun and creativeness to the team Be reliable and punctual setting a good example to other team members Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years Be a people person with strong communication skills Be able to motivate others to deliver to the highest standard Have no prior convictions and able to obtain a clean DBS check

Hours



Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,930.00-31,200.00 per year
