Activ8 For Kids

are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and inspiring wrap around club manager to work in our club in Bevendean, Brighton. The role will involve planning and setting up activities for the children coming to the club before and after school, collecting the children and then supervising the large group of after school children and other members of staff. You will be responsible for ensuring all standards are met and that the wrap around club runs effectively, safely and smoothly.

About you

You will need to be confident to manage a team of staff, deliver a range of activities and create a fun-filled stimulating and safe environment, with activities for all to enjoy. Working well in a team is important as well as being able to communicate confidently with children, parents and staff.

Must be fun, outgoing and be a team player Able to plan and deliver a variety of activities for ages 4-11 year olds ?First Aid Certificate (training can be provided) ?Safeguarding Certificate (training can be provided) Proven experience working with Primary age children Early years experience is desirable

We can offer training to further your career in all other areas related to the role.

The hours of work will be between 2:45-6pm Monday to Friday. This is a term time only role initially, however we also operate holiday clubs so there is the option for the successful candidate to have full year work if wanted as a holiday club manager. There is also an option to increase hours to full time.

All roles are subject to our safer recruitment checks including a new DBS, references and a suitability questionnaire.
