We are looking for bright, engaging and creative people to present after school maths clubs to primary aged children in Leeds. In addition to this, we are looking for holiday club group leaders to work at our holiday club from July 21st - August 1st. You may apply for either the holiday club role, or the Presenter role, or both.

After school club presenter hours: 1-5 per week

We currently have vacancies starting from 2nd June. Applicants MUST be available between 3 and 5pm at least one day a week. The work is flexible but there is a minimum 6 week commitment. Applicants need be able to travel easily to schools in and around Leeds. The after school clubs pay a generous salary of 20 - 25 per hour. The holiday club work pays 12.50 per hour and hours are between 8:45am and 3:15pm.

You must be comfortable around children and with basic maths. Full training will be provided.

This role is suited to those with experience teaching or as a TA either in a school environment or in a club, sport or play environment. It is also suited to trainee teachers looking for a summer role to enhance their CVs and applications to teaching roles.

The right candidates will:

- enjoy working with children

- have previous experience working with children (this is ESSENTIAL)

- be 100% punctual and reliable

- be able to run an after school club and/or holiday club with enthusiasm

- be able to travel around Leeds easily (ideally have a car)

- be happy working flexible hours

- have a clear DBS check on the update system (or be willing to get one)

- have a minimum of a Grade C/4 in GCSE Maths and English

- having Paediatric First Aid is desirable
