Job Description
Are you passionate about creating a fun and enriching environment for children? V.I.M Club is seeking a playworker to join our friendly after school club team at a lovely primary school in Woodingdean.
We are passionate about providing child led sessions with a choice of activities that are fun and engaging rather than an extension of their school day.
Free sessions are provided, if required when you are working for your own primary aged child.
Working Hours:
2.45 to 6 pm Monday to Friday during term time Occasional shifts available at Breakfast Club Overtime available during school holidays at Holiday Clubs.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage with children during sessions. Prepare healthy snacks for the children. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under our care. Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Requirements:
Ideally, the candidate will have education/childcare/playworker training but this is not essential, we would like to find the right candidate and full training will be provided Ability to thrive in play environments and connect with children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
