We're Hiring: After School Play Leader (Level 2 Sports Coach)

Bradford BD9

Hours:

Monday-Friday, 15:30-18:00

Wage:

Minimum wage (10.00 - 12.21 per hour)

Contract:

Minimum 10 hours per week term time only

Overtime:

Additional hours available during school holidays

About the Role

As a Sports Play Leader, you'll lead engaging, active sessions within our bespoke Kanga curriculum - from multi-sports and games to skill-based challenges that develop confidence, fitness, and teamwork.

You'll be part of our wraparound care team running after school sessions that make sport fun, inclusive, and inspiring for every child.

This is a hands-on, energetic role where every day is different. Whether you're setting up an obstacle course, running a mini tournament, or leading a team-building challenge, you'll be creating moments children remember.

What You'll Be Doing:

Delivering fun, structured sports and activity sessions Supporting physical literacy, teamwork, and confidence Leading games, skill challenges, and active play Building positive relationships with children, parents, and schools Ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Minimum Level 2 or higher qualification in sports coaching Energetic, confident, and passionate about sport Great at engaging children of all abilities Reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to child wellbeing Comfortable leading small and large groups Based in (or able to travel to) Bradford BD9 area

Bonus if you have:

On the Enhanced DBS Update service Paediatric First Aid certificate Experience coaching or teaching sport to children
