The Aftercare Technician Role involves assessing and repairing defects to play equipment. You would be liaising with stakeholders in regards to repairs including office staff and customers.

Duties
PLAYGROUND INSPECTION
Conduct comprehensive inspections of past and present playground installations to identify any safety hazards, design flaws, or construction defects. (In accordance to EN1176)
Assess the overall quality and functionality of playground equipment, surfacing, and amenities.
Recommend and oversee necessary modifications to bring non-compliant areas up to safety standards.
Bill of materials and scope of work discussed with Aftercare Coordinator following inspection.
PLAYGROUND REMEDIAL WORKS
Conduct all remedial works required to playground installations past and present.
Understands and keeps up to date with all technical documentations: Risk assessments, schedule of works, design drawings, ops plans and product technical drawings.
Site Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the safe installation of equipment, including surfaces and equipment placement.
CUSTOMER CONTACT
Interact professionally with clients and project managers, addressing any questions or concerns and providing guidance on playground maintenance.
Managing the customers' expectations and ensuring they receive a quality service. Handling any complaints and ensuring these are escalated to senior management.
Closing off the project with the customers sign off form complete and positive feedback.
Focus on the development of relationships with key customers (trusts).
ORGANISATION, PLANNING AND SYSTEMS
Planning projects using Aftercare Log and understanding how to prioritise customers.
Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
Prepare written reports summarising inspection results and proposed solutions and upload these to the correct locations in Kevin.
Communicate inspection results and safety recommendations effectively to stakeholders through teams and Kevin.
