Nursery Assistant Positions Available

1 x Nursery Assistant Positions with 15 -20 Hours per Week

This position is an Afternoon job around 4 days per week start time 12.30pm

(Some movement/consdieration may be given within reason if working alongside a morning position)

Expected Start date of October/November dependent on vetting times in process

Nursery Assistant Position

This position will be working with children aged 0-5years within our Babies & Tiny Tot's, Toddlers or Pre-School Rooms*

Essential Criteria

You must hold a minimum qualification of CCLD Level 2 in Childcare & Education/ Equivalent or be working towards completing your qualification Experience working with children in the younger ages of Nursery 0-5 years

Required to be over 18 years of age

Desirable Criteria

Preferred experience of working in a Day Care Nursery Setting with children aged 0-5years Hold up to date core training in Child Safeguarding Certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate, Basic Food & Hygiene
Some duties you will be required to fulfil in this position are:

You will be responsible to Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor and Management You will be working as part of a team providing day to day care for our children Ensuring that there is a safe, caring and welcoming environment for the children and their families. Helping to provide age appropriate and stimulating activities for children daily Nappy changing, toileting children & feeding children alongside, cleaning and preparing the room and equipment for the children daily Communicating with parents daily to give a brief report on their day Have good communication skills to enable effective working within your team
