Job Description
A lovely family in Camberwell is looking for an afterschool nanny to care for their two school-aged children who attend local schools. They're hoping to find someone flexible and committed for the long term, who can offer a balance of warmth, fun, and gentle authority. The family is also open to adding morning hours on 2-3 days per week, if preferred. Both parents work from home one day a week.
For candidates interested in extra hours, there's an option to take on four additional hours of housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry. A valid first aid qualification is essential, and being able to speak Italian or travel with the family would be a bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Duties include:
- preparing healthy meals and snacks
- helping with homework
- doing after school activities with the children
- preparing recreational activities that will boost the children's physical and mental development
- maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
- doing arts and crafts
- taking the children to parks and playgrounds
- preparing them for bed and reading them stories
