Job Summary

The Aftersales Digital Marketing Team is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Digital Content Management Specialist, reporting to Manager, Aftersales Digital Marketing.

The role is responsible for maintaining content across various websites and platforms, as well as planning, implementing, and managing our Search Engine Optimisation strategy across our retail website. The role will also be pivotal to the success of a planned website relaunch, working closely with solution owners and developers to launch the new website design, as well as with business and sales managers to audit and refresh content across multiple market versions.

The Digital Content Specialist will also be responsible for preparing and managing Aftersales content for our Brand partner websites, ensuring continuity in the customer journey and negotiating backlinks and banner placements with responsible Brand website managers.

Multi-channel, multi-brand, multi-market, multi-customer segments: these factors represent the complexity of the work involved. Therefore, experience in managing projects of this diverse and complex nature is highly beneficial, as is a high attention to detail.

Experience with CMS tools such as Adobe Experience Manager and Liferay will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Typical responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with product and market commercial teams, as well as in-house copywriter to plan and develop content across 10+ markets.
  • Plan, develop, and implement an SEO strategy to support organic search optimisation of our retail site.
  • Build webpages and load SEO-friendly content in AEM and Liferay.
  • Perform regular keyword research.
  • Monitor traffic KPIs in Google Analytics.
  • Prepare and present regular reports back to the team.
  • Manage permissions and visibility setting for brand and market-specific content.
  • Collaborate with web developers and digital marketers on projects and campaigns.
  • Managing and preparing Aftersales content for Brand websites, liaising with Brand counterparts to produce the best customer journey.
  • Support with User Acceptance Testing.
  • Stay up-to-date and advise the wider team on latest SEO and digital trends and best practices.
Qualification/Experience:
  • Experience in content and website management systems preferable.
  • Experience in planning and implementing SEO strategy.
  • Experience of A/B and multi-variate testing.
  • Web analytics and digital marketing experience essential.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS and JavaScript desirable.
  • Effective communicator, with high attention to detail and accuracy, extremely organised with the ability to work to and meet deadlines.
