The Role
We are seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead and develop our aftersales operation. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for service, warranty, and customer relations across our used vehicle portfolio.
You will manage a growing team of service advisors and workshop technicians, ensuring operational excellence, process compliance and a first-class customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the aftersales team, including service advisors and service/warranty technicians.
Handle all escalated customer concerns, warranty issues and complaint resolution.
Improve workshop efficiency, utilisation, productivity and turnaround times.
Ensure accurate diagnosing, repair processes and quality control.
Manage warranty claims, technical queries and liaise with external suppliers.
Track key KPIs including labour hours, WIP, CSI, complaint rates and rework.
Drive continuous improvement across customer service, workshop operations and handover processes.
Support integration of new systems (CRM, tracking, AI tools, etc).
Collaborate with sales and logistics to maintain strong handover and stock readiness.
Lead recruitment, training and performance development of aftersales personnel.
Ensure compliance with policies, health & safety, and brand standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in automotive aftersales management (volume franchise or high-volume used preferred).
Strong understanding of diagnostics, warranties, workflows and customer service.
Commercially astute with experience managing P&L or key operational KPIs.
Confident communicator and problem solver with excellent people skills.
Resilient, organised and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-first mindset with the ability to drive resolution and protect reputation.
Strong leadership skills - motivates, coaches and holds teams accountable.
