Job Description
Happy Hills Day Nursery is recruiting an Afterschool Club Assistant 12-15 hours per week, possible increase in hours if desired.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Level 2 or 3 Children's Care Learning and Development qualification desirable but not essential.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Enthusiasm for working with young children A commitment to the provision of high quality childcare for school aged children. A positive approach to inclusive practice with children and colleagues. Assist the children with their written homework's if requested Ensure a high standard of care is provided, whilst promoting a home from home environment that the children can feel safe and secure. Plan activities for the children based on their interests. Maintain paperwork that is required throughout the day. Have a professional yet friendly approach in dealing with parents. Must be able to work well in a team but also have the confidence to work independently. The ability to follow our settings Policies and Procedures.
Applicants must be 18 years or over.
Wages discussed at interview based on experience and qualifications.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
