Do you enjoy working with children and have a passion for creativity and learning? The Inventors is offering a unique opportunity to engage with children aged 6 to 12, providing them with a fun, hands-on experience that sparks their interest in science and technology!

We're looking for enthusiastic and energetic facilitators to lead exciting after-school sessions where children design and build their own small projects and gadgets. These projects incorporate elements of

Science, Technology, Art, Mechanics, and Electronics (STEAM)

This is a

part-time role

, requiring

two one-hour sessions per week

, held in

two different schools

. Full training and all materials are provided for each session, so no prior teaching experience is necessary -- just a willingness to learn and a passion for inspiring young learners!

Schedule: 3 - 5 pm

Salary: 14 - 22 hourly

We require all our facilitators to pass an enhanced DBS check before they can be assigned a school.

Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging after-school activities for children, promoting creativity and teamwork. Support and guide students in various educational and recreational tasks, fostering a positive learning environment. Communicate effectively with students and parents, providing updates on progress and activities. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a well-organized program. Maintain a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.
