Do you enjoy working with children and have a passion for creativity and learning? The Inventors is offering a unique opportunity to engage with children aged 6 to 12, providing them with a fun, hands-on experience that sparks their interest in science and technology!

We're looking for enthusiastic and energetic facilitators to lead exciting after-school sessions where children design and build their own small projects and gadgets. These projects incorporate elements of

Science, Technology, Art, Mechanics, and Electronics (STEAM)

This is a

part-time role

, requiring

two one-hour sessions per week

, held in

two different schools

. Full training and all materials are provided for each session, so no prior teaching experience is necessary -- just a willingness to learn and a passion for inspiring young learners!

Employment: Part-time

Expected hours: 2 per week

Schedule: 3 - 5 pm

Salary: 14 - 22 hourly

We require all our facilitators to pass an enhanced DBS check before they can be assigned a school.

Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging after-school activities for children, promoting creativity and teamwork. Provide support in teaching English through interactive games and discussions. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress. Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall program experience. Adapt activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
