Hey!

I am urgently looking for a Performing-Arts/Drama assistant in 2 after-school clubs to start with. We are hoping this will give you an opportunity to be trained by the club leader and learn vital on-the-job knowledge that will lead to you teaching your own clubs and classes in the future. This position would suit someone at university who wants to teach in the future or someone who is looking to fill their timetable with more creative teaching hours.

I am looking for someone who can commit to at least two after-school classes a week for a minimum of one school year. Performing-Arts/Drama training and experience caring for children is essential. We are looking for someone with a friendly demeanour, creative outlook and lots of energy as well as a sound knowledge of safe-guarding and protecting children. Commitment and reliability are also very important to create consistency and safety for the children to build trusting relationships with the schools and venues we work with.

You would be working for a very small, intimate but award-winning company where your voice will be heard and there will be scope for personal and career growth. I'm really looking for someone who understands the ethos and vision of the company and will bring their own spark to the company.

You would be assisting:

Tuesdays and Thursdays- 3.15-4.35pm- Whitehall Primary. BS5

You will need an enhanced DBS or be willing to get one.
