Job Title: Care Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Agency Care Worker to join our team and provide essential care and support to individuals in need.

We are specifically looking for candidates who can provide one to one care in Nursing & Residential Homes in Chepstow & Surrounding Areas.

Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in the UK and have a satisfactory DBS and Manual Handling Practical Qualification.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with daily tasks, promoting their independence, and ensuring their well-being in various settings such as care homes or home care environments.

Duties:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on clients' needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility issues and physical therapy exercises.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Keep accurate records of clients' progress and services provided.

Requirements:
- Experience working in a care home or home care setting.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills for record keeping purposes.
- Ability to create and implement effective care plans.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in English to ensure clear communication with clients.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (nice-to-have).

Job Type: Zero hours contract

Pay: 13.68-15.00 per hour
