Duties
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation
Prepare a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards
Oversee all aspects of food production, including cooking, plating, and portion control
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and knowledge
Collaborate with front-of-house teams to coordinate service times and menu offerings
Monitor quality control throughout the food preparation process to guarantee customer satisfaction
Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
Qualifications
Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
Strong background in food production, cooking techniques, and culinary arts
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
Experience in food preparation, serving, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
