Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food production in the kitchen
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to dietary requirements
- Ensure food preparation meets food safety standards and regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations during service
- Ensure high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
- Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control
Skills
- Experience in hospitality and cook preferrable in care home setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of kitchen operations and equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment
