Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Agency Chef Manager to oversee our operations within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for culinary excellence. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing food preparation processes while fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage a team of culinary professionals. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene in the kitchen. Oversee food preparation and presentation to guarantee quality and consistency in all dishes served. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and hospitality standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery within the restaurant environment. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Address any issues or concerns raised by staff or customers promptly and professionally.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. A background in hospitality or culinary arts is highly desirable. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
