Agency Family Support Worker (Lot 3 - Bank Shifts)

About the Role


This zero-hour contract is perfect for someone seeking flexibility, extra shifts, or simply wanting to help make a real impact. By registering with us, you'll have access to shifts that provide vital support to some of the most vulnerable individuals supported by Child and Family Services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing general support directly in the child's and/or family's home, as well as at other locations, such as hospitals, residential facilities, or the wider community. Offering short-term or emergency assistance to children (pre-birth to 18 years) and their families/carers. Supporting safety and well-being plans tailored to each family's needs. Taking on shifts that meet the specific requirements of children and families, typically running from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, depending on individual cases.

Mandatory Requirements


To join our team, you will need to meet the following criteria:

Experience

: A minimum of six months' experience working with children and/or their families, including a strong ability to record and report effectively.

Qualifications

: City and Guilds Level 2 in Children's Care, Play, Learning, and Development, or equivalent.

?

Registration

: Social Care Wales registration for childcare.

?

Driving

: A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, including valid MOT and insurance, or the ability to travel efficiently within and beyond Swansea Council boundaries.

DBS Clearance

: All applicants must have a clear DBS check.
