We at Ideal Home Care Ltd are looking for Health Care Assistants to work in various healthcare settings across Shropshire.

Purpose of your role:

As a Health Care Assistant you will be assisting with the following:

Assisting with all personal care requirements

Providing companionship and supportive listening

Observing and reporting any changes in the health or status of the patient

Preparing meals and feeding patients

Responding to emergency situations

Provide person-centred care to a range of vulnerable individuals across various settings.

Assist with mobility, moving and handling and promoting independence

Assist in the delivery of care to meet the individual's health and wellbeing needs.

Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information.

Requirements for the role:

Previous care experience is essential ,full online and practical training will be given but equally as important to us is a can-do attitude, a friendly personality and real commitment to our customers to ensure we give them the very best care available. Due to the nature of this role reliability for shifts is essential, and we will always aim to get you to work as near to your home as possible. Car drivers preferred but not essential.

Full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is preferred.

For experienced Care Staff, what we're looking for from you:

You should have at least 6 months of health care experience within a nursing/care home setting. Knowledge of complex care would be an advantage, but full training will be given. Be caring and compassionate and enthusiastic about providing the highest level of care Able to provide two satisfactory reference Should have up to date training, valid DBS and right to work.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
