We are now seeking a proactive and experienced Agency Manager to lead and grow our operations, with a strong emphasis on service development, governance, and sales.

As the Agency Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our care assistant services while driving the strategic development of our offerings across Northern Ireland. You will lead the Head Office team, ensure regulatory compliance, develop and maintain partner relationships, and play a key role in the agency's growth through service innovation and business development.

Key Responsibilities:



Operational Leadership



Oversee the delivery of high-quality care assistant and 1:1 support services across multiple settings. Manage recruitment, retention, and performance of the care team. Ensure staffing levels meet contractual and client needs effectively.

People Leadership & Team Development



Provide inspirational leadership and clear direction to the team. Lead on all aspects of people management including employee engagement, supervision, performance management, and employee relations matters (e.g. grievances, disciplinary procedures). Foster a positive and inclusive working environment that supports team wellbeing and professional growth. Identify training needs and ensure all mandatory and regulatory training is completed and up to date. Develop the team through coaching, mentoring, and structured development plans to enhance skills and retain talent.

Service Development



Identify new service opportunities and contribute to the expansion of 1:1 care and specialist services. Develop partnerships with local health trusts and care providers.

Governance and Compliance



Ensure full compliance with RQIA standards and other relevant legislation. Monitor quality assurance processes, conduct audits, and implement improvement plans. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with data protection and safeguarding policies.

Sales and Business Development



Drive sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders, and private clients. Represent the agency at industry events, forums, and networking opportunities.

Key Skills & Attributes:



Strong leadership and people management skills. Proven track record in service development and growth. Excellent understanding of regulatory and governance requirements in social care. Sales acumen with the ability to identify and convert business opportunities. Strategic thinker with strong communication and negotiation skills. Empathetic and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Essential Criteria:



Registered Social Worker, Allied Health Professional, Registered Nurse or OCN Level 5 with a minimum of 5 years' experience. Minimum 3 years' experience in a management role within a health or social care setting. Knowledge of Northern Ireland's health and social care landscape. Understanding of RQIA standards and regulations. Full driving licence and access to a vehicle. Eligible to work in the UK.

Desirable:



Experience in business development or sales within the care sector. Experience managing remote teams across multiple locations.

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
