Impact of an Agency Partner Manager

As an Agency Partner Manager, you lead the growth and success of our agency ecosystem. You are the primary point of contact for a portfolio of digital agency partners (primarily in the UK), building high-trust relationships, driving partner enablement, and ensuring a seamless partner experience. Your work empowers agencies to succeed on Platform.sh, while accelerating our go-to-market strategy in the region.



You thrive on collaboration, are technically conversant, and understand the nuances of working with agency stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You report directly to the VP of Agency Partnerships and work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams to deliver results.


What to expect

Partner Acquisition & Enablement:

Lead partner onboarding and growth efforts, identifying high-potential digital agencies and nurturing strategic relationships.

Trusted Relationship Management:

Serve as the main point of contact for your portfolio of agency partners--building trust, resolving challenges, and supporting day-to-day success with transparency and care.

Sales Support & Collaboration:

Partner closely with Sales and Partner Sales teams to support deal cycles, address partner inquiries, and drive mutual pipeline growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Enablement teams to develop partner-facing collateral, align on strategic priorities, and deliver consistent value across touchpoints.

Market Positioning:

Stay informed on market trends, agency business models, and digital transformation efforts to adapt your approach and enhance Platform.sh's positioning.

Training & Resources:

Own the creation of enablement materials--playbooks, onboarding guides, training sessions, and partner portal content--to empower agencies and ensure scalable success.

Forecasting & Reporting:

Maintain accurate CRM data and partner engagement records. Provide actionable insights on performance, growth opportunities, and partner health.

Event Engagement:

Represent Platform.sh at regional conferences, partner roadshows, and industry events--deepening relationships and increasing visibility in the digital agency landscape.

Problem Solving & Escalations:

Handle partner issues with care and urgency, ensuring timely and effective resolutions while maintaining long-term trust.

What you bring

Agency Landscape Knowledge:

3+ years of experience working with digital or marketing agencies (or similar ISVs), ideally with an existing book of partners or strong familiarity with the local agency ecosystem.

Relationship-First Mindset:

A passion for building long-term partnerships and delivering tangible value through solutions, enablement, and shared wins.

Self-Starter Mentality:

Ownership of your portfolio with an entrepreneurial mindset. You take accountability for outcomes and thrive with autonomy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Proven ability to partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive aligned, scalable growth.

Solution Orientation:

Adept at navigating ambiguity and turning challenges into opportunities. You bring resilience and creativity to every problem.

Communication Skills:

Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written skills. Capable of engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

Organizational Agility:

Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills. You balance partner needs with internal strategy and timelines.

Familiar with the software development lifecycle used by digital agencies, including a basic understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines. +

Solid understanding of modern hosting environments, including VPS, managed hosting, and serverless/cloud infrastructure (e.g. Lambda).
