The Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Agency Senior Carer

to join our team at a care home in Billericay. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to residents,

administer medications

, and support junior staff to ensure excellent care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support residents with meals, hydration, and daily activities

Administer medications safely

following care plans and training Lead and mentor care staff on your shift, ensuring care plans are followed accurately Maintain detailed records of residents' care and report changes to the management team Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents Promote independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing of residents

Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

Minimum of 12 months' previous healthcare experience in the UK Proven experience as a senior carer or team leader in a care setting Ability to administer medications safely and accurately Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a

DBS on the Update Service
