Job Description

Imagen helps sports and media companies manage and distribute their ever-growing video libraries, enabling fast, easy, secure and controlled access to content through a highly customisable content portal. Speed to market, greater choice and ease of access are critical to maximising the value of content. Imagen allows rights holders to monetise near-live video assets more effectively via a premium content distribution portal. Offering pin-point time-based video searching, instant playback, online editing and high-speed file transfer, Imagen unlocks the full commercial potential in media libraries.
With customers including the Premier League, BBC Studios, IMG, BP, Press Association and many more, Imagen implements a unique set of processes and technical expertise to ensure that video is managed in the most efficient and cost-effective way. As the sheer amount of video data grows throughout the world, Imagen strives to create a platform that can generate more value from archive and near-live video.


As a member of the Product Development team, the

Agile Business Analyst

is crucial in validating that our development and services align with client demands, enhancing the project delivery and outcomes.


This role serves as a vital conduit between Product Development, Professional Services, Account and Project Management, tasked with the comprehensive gathering, understanding, documenting, maintaining and managing of client and product specifications.


The person will craft and delineate software specifications through epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, catering to both internal stakeholders and our client base.

Please note that this role is based from our Willingham office in Cambridge, on a hybrid basis (2 days per week).

As a

Agile Business Analyst

at Thomson Reuters you will:

Collaboratively create epics, user stories and acceptance criteria from high level requirements defined by Senior Technical Managers and Product Managers Work closely with the professional development teams to ensure understanding of requirements and add clarity where required Facilitate the good health of the backlog using models such as DEEP, by working with Product Managers, Project and Account Managers Help Account and Product Managers clarify the customer use cases by utilising techniques such as Impact Mapping and User Story Mapping. Champion the product and technical vision and ensure the teams understand the roadmap and its purpose Manage the requirements using Azure DevOps Boards and Lucidchart to give transparency to stakeholders

About You




To be our

Agile Business Analyst,

you will likely have:

Demonstrable experience of working and delivering in an Agile environment, preferably SCRUM in a software development environment Experience of being a bridge between Product, Project or Account Management and Development teams Ability to disseminate feature requests into viable user stories and acceptance criteria, identifying dependencies Level of involvement and experience in doing release management. Certified Scrum Master is desirable or a level of involvement in the Scrum process. Comfortable speaking with developers, requesting updates and asking questions. Exposure to Git/GitHub Ability to identify and handle potential risks Independent and proactive with outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities Challenges assumptions, offers fresh ideas, values, and respects diverse perspectives Embraces teamwork and a cooperative spirit.
