Farm Advisor

that can develop our consultancy team within our business. We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate individual to join our team and provide expert support to farmers across the region.

?About the Role

As a

Farm Advisor

, you will work internally within the business and with external farms to offer practical, science-based advice on a range of topics including:

Predominantly crop management Soil health, NVZ and nutrient management Sustainable farming techniques Business planning and farm diversification Compliance with agricultural policies and regulations Managing applications for waste registrations and permits New technologies and agri-environment schemes Researching and supporting environmental scheme applications (e.g. SFI, CS, capital grants)

? What We're Looking For

A degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, Environmental Science, or a related field FACTS / BASIS qualified (or desire to be qualified) Experience in Farm Business Consultancy with practical farming knowledge Strong understanding of modern farming systems and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build trusted relationships with farmers and stakeholders Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving and planning skills Full UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location)
Experience in advisory work, agri-environment schemes, or farm business consultancy is highly desirable.
