J&T Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a long-established and reputable agricultural machinery dealer with over 40 years' experience supplying a wide range of agricultural equipment across Shropshire, Cheshire and Mid Wales. Due to continued growth, our client is now seeking skilled

Agricultural Engineers

to join their busy team based in Holmes Chapel.



Agricultural experience is desirable but

not essential

. This position is also well-suited to engineers from related large-engine or heavy-equipment industries such as construction plant, access equipment, military vehicles, HGV, or similar sectors.



Both

field-based

and

workshop-based

roles are available. Our client is committed to providing exceptional customer service and requires individuals with a passion for machinery and a strong desire to deliver high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair agricultural equipment in both workshop and field environments Complete job cards, reports and administrative tasks accurately and on time Adhere to all company and industry safety regulations Participate in ongoing training programs to further develop technical skills Maintain a clean, organised workspace and support overall workshop efficiency

Essential Skills, Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in service and repair work Ability to perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs using the correct tools and techniques Competent in using computer systems, manufacturer portals and standard applications Ability to operate diagnostic vehicles and equipment Strong customer service skills Knowledge or familiarity with agricultural machinery is beneficial Team player with a proactive attitude Full, clean driving licence (required for field roles) Willingness to work extended hours and weekends on a rota when required
