Tarff is an Agricultural Merchant supplying the rural community in Southern Scotland, Northern England, Ayrshire and Islay, with a wide range of quality products and services. Tarff positions itself as a 'one stop shop' and sells a full range of agricultural products including animal feed, fertiliser, seeds, anthelmintics, animal health products, hardware, clothing and footwear.

Tarff Valley is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable

on the road Sales Representative

to join its team in the

Ayrshire/Lanarkshire area

. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing customer relationships, promoting and selling our full product range.

Key Responsibilities



Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while developing new business opportunities. Promote and sell animal feed, fertiliser and a broad range of agricultural products. Provide advice and guidance to farmers on product selection and use. Conduct regular farm visits to understand customer requirements and challenges. Keep up to date with industry developments and seasonal trends. Work collaboratively with the wider sales and logistics to ensure smooth order processing and delivery. Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions and account information.

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in agricultural sales (livestock, arable or mixed farming). Knowledge of animal nutrition, crop production and general farm supplies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility. Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on the road. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Full UK driving licence.
