Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tractor Trailer Driver to join our team. This role involves operating heavy vehicles to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. Based on our site Cowcaddens- Glasgow City Centre with immediate start.
Duties
Operate tractor trailers in compliance with all road safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order. Manage the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of cargo. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes taken, and any issues encountered during transport.
Experience
Proven experience as a tractor trailer driver or in a similar role in construction is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs on vehicles. A valid driving licence appropriate for operating heavy vehicles is required.
You MUST have the following competencies:
CE Category on driving license. CPCS Card A33 - Agricultural Tractor Valid in-date licence
