What you'll do
As an Agriculture Manager. you'll work collaboratively across the business and our value chains to implement the Sainsbury's Agriculture Strategy for your aligned species. This includes sourcing policy, supply chain resilience, security of supply, delivery of our plan for better sustainability commitments as well as our commercial Win In Food strategy. To achieve this, you'll engage and influence the Sainsburys technical and commercial teams, our supplier partners & farmers as well as other external bodies.

As an Agriculture Manager for Sainsbury's, you are a highly experienced professional with a deep understanding of sustainable sourcing practises in the agricultural industry. With your extensive background in agriculture and ideally a relevant degree, you bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to shape the company's strategies and initiatives. Your exceptional communication skills allow you to effectively engage and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally, including our trusted farming partners, industry organisations, and regulatory bodies. Your collaborative approach and ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams ensure the successful implementation of sustainable agricultural practises throughout our supply chains.
