We are searching for an experienced AI Transformation Leader - Consulting

We are seeking an experienced AI Transformation Leader to lead and execute the AI transformation agenda within our Consulting service line, working alongside the Consulting Leadership team and National Technology function.
The potential to reimagine how RSM undertakes our Consulting services and the underlying delivery methods is enormous, and crucial to our vision of creating a Digital First practice. This senior role will work with service line leaders, partners and directors to evaluate how AI can fundamentally transform the efficiency with which our service delivery processes are executed, using a range of generative and agentic AI toolsets.
The role will act as a catalyst and change-maker for driving AI innovation, efficiency, and insight generation across the client journey within Consulting, aligning with our UK AI lab and key leaders within our national technology function as well as leveraging across the network.
Key Responsibilities:
AI Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and own the AI Transformation Strategy for the Consulting service line.
  • Define a clear roadmap for embedding AI across all stages of the client lifecycle from discovery to delivery and beyond.
  • Align the strategy with firmwide AI initiatives, including the UK and US AI Labs, Consulting Digital Team, and National Technology Team.
Innovation in Client Service Delivery
  • Partner with Consulting department heads and their teams to map current service delivery processes and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation.
  • Lead design thinking workshops to co-create future delivery models using Gen AI, intelligent agents, and automation.
  • Prototype and pilot new AI-enabled service models, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and client-centric.
Internal Efficiency & Insight Generation
  • Identify and implement AI solutions to enhance internal operations, reduce manual effort, and improve decision-making ultimately leading to better client insights and experiences.
  • Drive adoption of AI tools that provide real-time insights to consultants and clients, improving value delivery and responsiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the bridge between Consulting, Technology, and Data teams, ensuring alignment and integration of AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the firms Data & Enterprise Leader and other transformation leaders to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing across the firm.
  • Engage with the UK and US AI Labs to leverage global capabilities and stay ahead of emerging trends.
Change Leadership & Capability Building
  • Champion a culture of innovation and experimentation within Consulting.
  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of AI tools and processes.
  • Develop and deliver training and enablement programs to upskill consultants in AI literacy and usage.
Client Engagement & Market Relevance
  • Stay close to client needs and market trends to ensure AI solutions are relevant, ethical, and commercially viable.
  • Support client-facing teams in articulating the value of AI-enabled services.
  • Represent RSM UK Consulting in industry forums, client meetings, and thought leadership initiatives related to AI.
Alignment and co-ordination with RSM US and international
  • Build relationships with US counterpart(s) to generate knowledge sharing and AI use case re-use across firms.
  • Participate in emerging plans and activities to share AI know-how and solutions across the global network.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in AI transformation, digital consulting, or innovation leadership roles.
  • Deep understanding of Generative AI, intelligent agents, and enterprise AI platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Experience in strategy development and execution in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and change management capabilities
