As a General Communications Manager, you will be responsible for driving the GSK brand and increase employee engagement in the US through the implementation and oversight of initiatives that bring our culture, mission and values to life. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following\xe2\x80\xa6

• Support enterprise-wide activation of priority global and local brand and engagement initiatives and platforms rallying teams around key organizational, cultural and community needs across the organization.
• Work closely with Internal and External Communications to develop strategies and plans for engaging employees and reaching key public audiences.
• Develop and implement communications and engagement campaigns across all US audiences and business units.
• Develop timely and robust leader-led engagement activities and communications, including work to drive employee development, recognition, and culture activation.
• Understand and incorporate area strategy, culture, and employee morale into communications to keep efforts fresh, on-target and credible considering governance process and standardization.
• Support employee fundraising plans including annual goals and communications touch points for community outreach programs.
• Work with internal partners (Finance, HR, IT) to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Collaborate with Global Brand colleagues to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and delivery.
• Develop content through various formats \xe2\x80\x93 photography, video, graphics, audio, written \xe2\x80\x93 that tells a compelling, personal story of our global and US brand programs to both internal and external audiences.
• Identify new and unique venues and platforms for telling the brand story.

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• Experience working with current digital communications technologies and strategies.
• Experience in strategic planning, budgeting and project management

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

• Masters Degree or MBA
• Ability to effectively engage with external partners and with leaders at all levels of the company
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Prior experience working with employee engagement initiatives
