Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in air conditioning systems, ensuring efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC equipment. This role requires an individual who can interpret schematics and provide leadership within a team environment, while also demonstrating expertise in construction and equipment repair.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment. Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues related to air conditioning systems. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational procedures. Perform preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of equipment. Lead a team of technicians during installation projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with other trades during construction projects to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Experience

Candidates should have proven experience in the following areas:

Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings. Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams or projects effectively. Experience with equipment repair and troubleshooting within the air conditioning field. Background in maintenance practices relevant to HVAC systems. Familiarity with construction processes as they relate to air conditioning installations.
