Job Description

RMEA is a growing M&E Contractor providing Mechanical, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Site Setup Solutions to clients across the Commercial Construction sector. We are actively seeking an Air Conditioning and Ventilation Projects Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Manage commercial sector air conditioning and ventilation projects from design to completion

Manage procurement of materials, programme the contract, and put together necessary site files

Oversee costing, ensuring budget and quality are controlled

Attend site/progress meetings with the client and appointed contractors during delivery of projects

Make and document any PPM changes/variations

Management and motivation of labour

Management of H&S including preparation of RAMS etc

Be available for out of hours call-out support for designated contracts

Personal Qualities/Skills:

Ability to co-ordinate and supervise projects on site including engineers, apprentices and subcontractors

A self-starter motivated with the ability to work autonomously

Strong client engagement skills

Technically minded and keeps up to date with latest technology and industry developments

Excellent communication and relationship building skills

Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Skilled negotiator with the experience and credibility to operate at senior levels, both internally and externally

Have a flexible approach to travel

Skills and Experience Required:

Previous commercial project management experience and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget

C&G Level 2 NVQ as a minimum or C&G award in 2079-11 F-Gas and ODS regulations Category 1

Full UK driving licence

Valid CSCS card

SMSTS, SSSTS or another recognised Health and Safety qualification would be advantageous

Package:

40,000 to 45,000 negotiable dependent on experience and qualifications

Company Vehicle and Fuel Card

22 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, increasing by 1 day for every 5 years of service
