Duties

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with safety standards. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with air conditioning units, providing effective solutions for repairs. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and operational requirements. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air conditioning systems into new builds or renovations. Lead projects as required, ensuring timelines are met while maintaining quality standards. Document all work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs for future reference.

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and components. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings related to air conditioning systems. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff effectively. Experience in equipment repair, particularly within the context of air conditioning units. Solid understanding of maintenance practices specific to HVAC systems. Familiarity with construction processes as they relate to the installation of air conditioning systems.
