40,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience and skill set)

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 (Callout Rota 1 in 10)

As our air conditioning division experiences significant expansion, we are looking for an experienced and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing business, working across a wide range of domestic and commercial projects.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out installation, servicing, and repair works on a variety of systems. The successful candidate will support both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes and respond to reactive service callouts. This field-based role covers sites within approximately a 60-minute radius of our office in North Hykeham.

You will be expected to work independently and collaboratively, bringing a proactive attitude and high standards of workmanship to every task.

Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair a range of comfort cooling and heating systems Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules Respond to reactive service callouts efficiently and professionally Accurately diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs Complete all required job documentation and reporting Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and office staff Participate in a 1-in-10 callout rota

Key Requirements

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or City & Guilds equivalent F-Gas Category 1 Certification (Essential) Proven experience with commercial and industrial air conditioning and refrigeration systems Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems Full UK driving licence with a clean record Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and customer service skills
