Overview

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Daikin and Mitsubishi systems and be adept at installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning units. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and leadership skills to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems in various settings.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot issues effectively. Perform equipment repairs promptly to minimize downtime for clients. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air conditioning systems into new builds or renovations. Provide leadership and guidance to junior engineers and apprentices during installations and repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.

Skills

Working in a domestic environment safely and tidy. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to air conditioning systems. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical documentation related to HVAC systems. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members effectively. Experience in equipment repair, particularly within the air conditioning sector. Familiarity with maintenance practices for HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
