Celsius Air Conditioning are an air conditioning installation and maintenance contractor, specialising in Mitsubishi Electric equipment, who have been trading for over 25 years.

To cater for our ongoing expanding workload, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Service Engineer to operate mainly in the Manchester area and the North West of England.

Most of our service clients have Mitsubishi splits and VRV equipment which has been installed by us to a good standard and we have an excellent record of both equipment reliability and client retention, with most clients having been with us for many years.

The vast majority of our sites are offices, which require attendance in normal working hours Monday to Friday, so this position would particularly suit engineers who prefer regular hours and minimal weekend work with a good work/life balance.

Normal working hours are 8:00am to 6:00pm door to door from your home, including unpaid lunch break of 30 minutes and 2 x unpaid 15 minute breaks - Monday to Friday

Holidays are 20 days holiday plus statutory days (28 days in total).

Salary range: 38,000 to 45,000 dependant upon experience.

Your duties will mainly comprise:

Attending callouts and diagnosing faults on splits and VRV systems - you should be experienced in fault finding techniques relating to compressors, inverters and fan motors. Carrying out repairs using replacement components which you have diagnosed as faulty and recommissioning the system and leaving it fully operational. Carrying out routine maintenance of splits, vrv and ventilation equipment Ocasionally assisting our installations department
The successful candidate will have the following :

Have over 5 years experience of fault finding, servicing and repair of Mitsubishi and other brands Be able to diagnose and rectify faults including changing all of the major components within a typical split and VRV system have a current F-Gas 2079 or equivalent qualification Hold a valid UK Driving Licence Possess a current C.I.T.B skills card. Possess valid PASMA and IPAF certificates Have (or willing to have) a current D.B.S (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
