Air Tightness Tester

to join our growing team.

The Role:

As an Air Tightness Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out air permeability testing on a variety of new-build and existing properties, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements (Part L of the Building Regulations). This role involves working on construction sites, liaising directly with clients and project teams, and delivering accurate, timely reports.

The role will also include gathering photographic evidence of domestic properties, carrying out Cavity Wall checks using a borescope and basic surveying if required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform air tightness (air permeability) testing on residential and commercial buildings Calibrate and maintain testing equipment in accordance with ATTMA standards Produce clear, accurate, and professional test reports Advise clients on test results and, where necessary, recommend remedial actions Maintain high standards of compliance, health & safety, and customer service

Requirements:

Level 1 or 2 ATTMA certification Full UK driving licence Understanding of building regulations and construction methods Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Comfortable using test software and Microsoft Office applications

Desirable:

Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
