- Aircraft Interior Trimmer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interior Trimmer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will work as part of a team to complete interior refurbishments of both fixed and rotary wing aircraft, based at our specialist facility in Sandhurst, Berkshire, UK. Aviation experience specifically is welcomed, however not essential. Automotive, marine or any other high quality trimming experience will be considered.

The role demands a degree of self-motivation and our projects cover a broad range meaning that the applicant will require a keen eye for detail and quality, coupled with a passion for perfection. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who is keen to learn new skills and who can work well under pressure to tight deadlines both on their own and as part of a team.

Smart in appearance, punctual and capable of obtaining the required airport security clearances, you will have relevant experience in aviation or a similar industry and above all be willing to learn and develop your skills. Relevant training and development will be given where required, however, this role requires some previous experience and candidates must be able to competently demonstrate some or all of the following skills:

Seat foam building Templating & patterning All aspects of sewing i.e. twin / top stitch to required standards Re-covering seats in leather/material Re-covering panels in Ultra-leather/leather or material Overlocker Skills Carpet overlocker Maintaining a high level of service and good eye for detail at all times Attending customer facilities to complete works if and when required Onsite installation of carpets Ability and willingness to travel as required
All applicants must have an unrestricted right to work and live in the UK and ideally a full clean UK driving licence and a valid passport for international travel should it be required.

Please note rate of pay is negotiable and dependent on skills and experience.
