Position:

Aircraft Technician

Full time - Permanent position.

Location:

MOD Boscombe Down, Salisbury, UK

Hours:

40 hours per week + Overtime on an ad hoc basis.

Salary:

Up to 44k DOE

Avalon Aero are a UK based CAA Approved Organisation that has served the aviation industry since the turn of the millennium, during this period, a highly regarded reputation in Aircraft Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness has been forged. Avalon Aero supports the Empire Test Pilots' School at MOD Boscombe Down, conducting base maintenance and supporting flight activities for their fixed wing fleet. Currently - Avro RJ, Pilatus PC21, Grob G120TP, Diamond DA42 and King Air 350.

The successful candidate must:

Demonstrate time served as an Aircraft Technician of either Mechanical or Avionic disciplines in an aircraft maintenance environment, Civil or Military aviation background. Be able to work well as an individual and part of both line & base maintenance teams. Aircraft modifications may also form part of your duties. Promote a proactive work ethic in a highly motivated business. Have experience in completing aircraft documentation. Show a depth of knowledge in all aspects of line and base maintenance. Currency in Human factors, Fuel tank Safety and EWIS training is desirable.
Aircraft towing experience is advantageous.

Have a clean history for disclosure proceedings.
