What you'll be doing:
Supporting the testing and delivering of Aviation fuel across different aircraft platforms and other duties to support the safe day to day operation of the aerodrome
Aircraft fuelling and defueling activities
Supporting the movement of ground equipment to meet business requirements
De-icing of aircraft to business requirements in line with required standards
Sweeping operations and snow clearance for airside surfaces to meet required business standards
Escorting duties for airside works in accordance with aerodrome operating procedures
Supporting the provision of emergency services and low visibility support as requested
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
In possession of an LGV Class 1 license as a minimum
Experience of fuelling/sweeping operations in an airside environment
Knowledge of how to undertake fuel testing/sampling in a live environment
Knowledge of bulk aviation fuel storage
Ability to work within a team delivering AGSU support in a fast response environment
Reliable work ethic with a can do attitude
Full awareness of the dangers of FOD in an airside environment
Human Factors
Desirable:
Explosives safety certificate
Understanding of aircraft de-icing procedures

Aircraft Grounds Support Unit (AGSU) Team
As an Operator, you will be reporting into AGSU supervisor working for Flight Operations Department. You will be supporting the testing and delivering of Aviation fuel across different aircraft platforms and other duties to support the safe day to day operation of the aerodrome.
