The role

As an Aircraft Technician, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contract providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. An interesting, dynamic, and rewarding role utilising specialist skill whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger international organisation.

Day to day you\'ll support all aircraft engineering, line, and depth maintenance as well as:

  • There will be some general duties as required, including (but not limited to), aircraft cleaning, housekeeping, Flight-line operations i.e., Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, \xe2\x80\x9csee-in\xe2\x80\x9d and \xe2\x80\x9csee-off\xe2\x80\x9d, fuel and oil replenishment and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE.
  • Schedule servicing and corrective maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services on Company Aircraft and Equipment including Check A maintenance as required to always meet or exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs as well as:
Essential experience of the Aircraft Technician
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson

Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC security clearance for this role.
