Job Description

Looking for experienced Class 1 HGV drivers for airport day work based at Heathrow airport cargo terminal - regular work for a busy operation.

Minimum 50 hours per week (minimum 10 hours a day)

Can be more than 10 hours a day but we guarantee a 10 hour minimum.

16 ph payroll. 17 ph self employed

Guaranteed work through the week for a very busy transport company based out of Heathrow.

We have various shifts available through the day, starting early morning until evening and shifts starting late morning until night.

Competitive rates that are dependant upon experience.

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements;

- A full UK C+E licence

- Valid CPC holders

- Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations

- No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)

- Long term availability

- Digicard

- Must not have more than 3 points on their licence

- Minimum of 1 year HGV driving experience is essential

- MUST have 5 year checkable work history

- Successful candidates will be required to present a valid DBS check dated within last 2 months

- Level D training will be required

- Experience of working in and around the airport cargo terminal

- ADR preferred

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties;

- General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer's premises or other locations.

- Delivering products on behalf of our client and their customer

- Use of electronic P.O.D and up to date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practice)

- Assisting with loading and unloading

- Must be professional and adhere to company protocol
